Finally...Las Vegas

We finally made it to Las Vegas. Its our last stop before Salt Lake City. I've never been to New York City and don't plan on going any time soon...so we thought it would be fun to pretend:) We got a room at the New York New York hotel. When we pulled up the kids were ecstatic! Kollin really wanted to ride the roller coaster, but isn't quite tall enough yet.

We got such a great deal on a room since it was the end of the weekend. What a nerd - taking a picture of the hotel room...I know:)

These were the softest beds. Kol and Kay were loving it!

For dinner we ate at the hotel in this "Downtown New York" pizza place.

These buildings were so cool!! They were really detailed and so real looking, but all inside the hotel.

After some food we headed out for a walk on the strip. We didn't venture too far...didn't want the kids seeing too much.

It was also 104 degrees outside....but we managed to make one very important stop - the M & M store:) They have every color you can think of so each of the kids got to choose their own M & M's.

So many people made such wonderful comments about the kids and how brave we are taking them to such busy places, but I am so grateful that they have been able to see so much this past year!

Kevin and the boys walking across the "Brooklyn Bridge".

The room had the biggest jacuzzi tub. This was the coolest thing to these kiddies. Kollin and Kaylee loved swimming in it:) This was such a perfect end to such a perfect trip!

Oh, and this was the Hoover Dam. I am such a glutton for taking pictures...this one I was sprawled over the back seat and was taken out the back window. There was a lot of construction going on, but I am glad that we at least got to see it!

We've had an amazing trip across country but are extremely excited for it to be over! The kids have been surprisingly good considering we have been on the road for 8 days now. There have been many chaotic and stressful moments, but the good times always out-weigh the bad!! I think they have enjoyed seeing all of the new places and are excited for school to start and dance classes to begin.

We will be in Kaysville, UT staying with Paul and Cindy until they send us to Chico, California or maybe even Carson City, Nevada. We cant wait to see our family and friends in Utah!!! Until our next adventure...post signature
