Trip to Orlando

This past weekend we had the opportunity to go to Orlando and visit with my brother Tim and his awesome family!!! Thanks to their park hopper passes we were able to go to Sea World one day and Magic Kingdom the next!! What an amazing weekend we had.

Sea World on Friday was soooo much fun! We havent had a good zoo in a while so the kids were beside themselves with all the cool animals. Everything was so hands on. We got to feed sting rays, pet dolphins, get up and close to every marine life you can think of, ride some rides and of course watch the infamous "Shamu". What a cool place.

This is a small vide of the Shamu Show. Pretty fun!!

Saturday we all headed to Daytona Beach, FL. This was such a different beach than what we have previously been to. The entire beach was compacted wet sand and everyone drove and even parked along the shore. The kids played so well together as they always do. I so wish we lived closer to Tim and Britt. Lots of digging in the sand, running from waves, and chasing birds. There were even starfish washing up on shore. Timmy and Kevin started catching them for the kids to see.

Then, Sunday we were so excited to be able to go to Disney World and visit the Magic Kingdom!! There are few words to explain just how excited the kids were. As soon as they kids saw Cinderellas Castle off in the distance their smiles were priceless. This place was amazing!! It was so hot and soooSOOsoo crowded but truly and unforgetable experience. With the amount of people there we were afraid we wouldn't get much done, but ended up riding every family ride and seeing all of the characters we came to see! I think having seen Cinderella, Buzz Lightyear and Mickey Mouse was by far the best part of the day. I have never seen such a glow of happiness in Kaylee's eyes than when we walked into the Princess Room. The pictures don't do justice to how excited and in complete HEAVEN she was!!! Oh - then there was Mickey Mouse...Kooper was beside himself!!! He wore his Mickey shirt and got so much excitement from Mickey Mouse about it. Minnie kissed him on the cheek and he just laughed and laughed! He talked about it for the rest of the day.

We ended the day with a parade down Main St. The kids just relived everything they did all day. They saw Mickey and Minnie, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Ariel, The Chipmunks, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland...the list goes on and on!! There is so much to say about this amazing place. A priceless and perfect day!!!! It will be so fun to go back in a few years when the kids are a little older, but it definately created tons of memories they will remember forever. Thank you, Thank you Timmy and Brittany for coming and hooking us up with such a great experience!!!!

Your pictures remind me of the countless times we went to Disneyland in California and all the fun memories that were created with our kids. I love Sea World and crazy as it sounds I have only been to the one in Orlando, and your pictures once again reminded me of how much fun it was. We tried in October to take our kids in California but because of the fires they closed it the one week we were there. So hopefully we will get there sometime in the near future! I am amazed at how you do all your fun stuff with four little ones. We are to far away from the reality of that ourselves! Looks like you had a really fun vacation!
